How to find Slime Chunks (ANY PLATFORM)

Do you want to know how to find Slime Chunks in a Minecraft world? Well, this is the video for you! Hello to everyone who is watching this video. Today I will be giving you, the ultimate Minecraft guide on how to find Slime Chunks for any platform or Edition of Minecraft. Without downloading anything or activating cheats. If you don't know what a Slime Chunk is, it is a chunk of your world which slimes can spawn in. So if you ever want to farm slimes, you first need to find a Slime a Chunk. With five simple steps, you should have all the information you need to know to find Slime Chunks. Firstly we need to understand the different Editions. Minecraft has way too many Editions to keep track of, these are just some of them. So for your convenience, I have sorted them out into four main categories. When the opening Minecraft to the main menu, you will see the logo on the upper half of the screen. We will use this to determine what Edition of Minecraft you are using. In this first example, you can see that I am using the Java Edition of Minecraft. In this second example, up here,

you can see that there is no Edition underneath the main logo. Once you know what logo your Minecraft has then look in this list here and find it. If any of the editions look like this, then you are in the Minecraft Console Edition category. There is the Bedrock Edition, which is what most people use, of course the original Java Edition and miscellaneous Editions, which I will get to at the end of the video. On to step 2. Please note that you only have to do step 2 if you are on either the Java or Console Editions of Minecraft. For the Java Edition users open the chat, then type "/seed". Once saying that in chat, you will be told the seed of the world. You may want to write this down on a piece of paper or something as you will need it later in the video. Now you need to find the coordinates of your slime chunk. Open Google or your preferred search engine and locate the website "chunkbase.com". There will be a link in the description and pinned-comment of this video in case you do not want to have to find it yourself. Otherwise once here on the home page click the apps button. You do NOT have to download anything. Then under "chunk finders" simply select the "Slime Chunk" option. At the main page, you will see a box to input your seed. Put your seed in that box unless you are on Minecraft Bedrock Edition. Otherwise, scroll down until you can select the Minecraft Edition you are using. One of the three we discussed earlier: Java bedrock or Console Edition. Once you have input of the seed and chosen your Edition, you are now ready to hit the find slimes button. After doing so, you will see that on the map below. There are green squares and squares that are not green. The green squares are Slime Chunks. You can zoom in and out using the slider just underneath the map. You can also find a certain coordinate on the map by inputting them in this area right here. Also hovering over a certain area of the map with your mouse or finger will show you the coordinates of that area too and where the chunk starts and the chunk ends. Now all you need to do is find your Slime Chunk and mark the coordinates of it. Then I will meet you back with step 4 inside of Minecraft. All we need to do now is mark the chunk, that will give us a basic outline so we never have to refer back to the website when we want to know where the slime chunk is. You can see here that I have moved to one of the corners of the Slime Chunk and have marked the corner with a few dirt blocks, just so I know that that particular area is one of the corners of the chunk. I then move over to the other corner and mark that area too. By then creating a diagonal line connecting the two points, I can easily create a square which will perfectly be an outline for the Slime Chunk. If you want to start farming slimes then you will need to make a slime farm. If you want to know how to do that, then just tell me and I can create a tutorial somewhat like this one. That is the main part of the video out of the way, however, I have still got more information for if no slimes are spawning in your chunk. I've got a few extra steps for you, that can help you drastically improve slime spawning. Maybe you were having some trouble getting the website to work, or you could possibly be using one of the Minecraft Editions that I said I would talk about at the end of the video. firstly if you are wondering if this works on the current Minecraft version or Platform you are playing on please check the pinned comment of this video as that will be regularly updated By me with the latest information on if this still works or not Also check the description to as that will also have the same information there Plus any other things I may have got wrong in the video or you may need to do that. I left out Now I will go over these questions on screen and answer them to the best of my ability So the first question is no slimes are spawning. What do I do? I've had this from a lot of people and the best answer I can give is there is this thing called the mob cap in your world and You see if there was no thing for the mob cap When you are at night for example inside of a Minecraft world your house would get filled up with zombies creepers and Spiders there would be way too many mobs and your device might crash or something So the mob cap makes sure that there are not too many mobs in your world and so it stops any From spawning once it gets to a certain limit of mobs in your vicinity so the best thing to do is light up all the underground caves all the above surface area where only Hostile mobs could spawn at all and make sure you kill all the hostile Unnecessary mobs and then you should have slimes spawning another thing you need to take into consideration Though is that they only spawn on a certain Y level meaning they only spawn on layer 39 and below which you will get more information about that if you look at a Tutorial on how to make a slime farm, so I will not go in depth on the spawning mechanics You also need to remember that mobs can only spawn 25 or more blocks away from you and That they weren't just born immediately. Even if you meet all these requirements it is will take a random amount of time And you can use lighting to prevent hostile mobs from spawning as a slimes will spawn in Broad daylight they do not need to spawn in the dark Also just to double-check if no slimes are spawning that you are not on Peaceful as they do not spawn on peaceful and they do not spawn in mushroom island biomes Question number two. How do I find the seed? now you only need to find the seed of your world if you are on either the console or at Java edition of minecraft if you're on a Bedrock, then you do not have to find the seed that is why I did not show how to find the seed for bedrock edition If you are on console, I did not shirt and show how to find the seeds So just go into your world options and it should be here somewhere there for question number three Is there a way to do it in vanilla? You definitely can find a slime chunks without using any help from websites Although I do not recommend it at all. It is a very long and tedious process it would require you to be in a very large dugout area deep in the ground just Waiting hoping that a slime will spawn and you will see exactly Where it spawned and then you'll have to find where that chunk is. It's not a good idea I do not recommend it question at number four. What Edition do I have now if you go back to a earlier part of their video you will see that I laid out most of the common editions minecraft has and I Categorized them so there's a console addition There's the bedrock Edition and then there's the Java Edition and a few miscellaneous editions so just go on to your title screen for Minecraft see what logo is looks like fine to that in the list and then see what category you fit into Question number five it is not working for me. What do I do? well Maybe tell me in what way it is not working first I would check through all these questions and see if that gets Answered then double check that Slimes are able to spawn then remember to check their pent comment look in a few comments of this video to see if anybody else is having a problem that you're having and then comment on this video tell me what your problem is and I will reply I Replied to nearly every single comment on my last slime chunk video and there were a lot of comments Let's just say question number 6. How do I make a slime farm? Well, I can make a tutorial on that if you really want me to but unless it is a really high demand I probably won't as this tutorial has already taken me around ten hours to make it's Taken me a lot of time and I do not fancy doing another crazy high-quality tutorial like this again any time soon? Question number seven, is there a different way to find slimes? Instead of using a slime chunk. Yes there definitely is and Unless you want to light a double chest of slime pools I would actually recommend Going to a swamp as at night time when it is a full moon You get really high chances of just finding slimes bouncing around on the surface of the overworld So do that if you just need a few slime balls for a very tiny project but if you want a large quantity then a slime chunk is definitely the way to go and for the new Nintendo 3ds Edition of minecraft while apparently it is the same as bedrock Edition I'm not sure where I got that information from and I do not know if that is 100% Concrete or not. So I would just stick to getting slimes from the swamp like I explained earlier as for minecraft China and pie edition Yes minecraft pie addition is a thing slimes don't even exist on Minecraft pie addition. I don't think so I have no idea what to do for those additions I hope you enjoyed this video always have a smiley face and I will see you later Goodbye
